Święta w USA/ Christmas in the USA

---------------
First thing you see about the Chistmas in US is the weather, of course. On the 24th of December I wore tshirt, which was nice, but I didn't feel the atmosphere because of lack of snow. For Americans, 24th of December is just a normal day, it's the Christmas Eve, so the nect day will be important, shops are open, people go to work. For Christmas I did a chicken soup (deliciuous) and vegetable salad (I added coriander insted of parsley, so taste is weird..) and I baked two pound cakes (they supposed to be higher and generally looks and taste better, haha).

Wieczorem 24.12 kolacja w Country Clubie, tym bardziej ą ę.

On the 24th of December we went to a fancy dinner to Country Club.

--------
And this is the first and only present you can open on the 24th, the rest you open on the 25th in the morning, which is weird for me (in Poland we open them after dinner on the 24th). I didn't like the fact we did it in pijamas, no atmosphere of elegant evening like it is in Poland. I like the presents thou, I will just show you this one, the rest was also good, but the best was blue box from my last post- it was filled with Christmas wishes from my family and friends with their pictures).

I wreszcie można się przebrać w dresiki, ufff!

Sporty outfit, finally!

Śniadanie świąteczne 25 grudnia z Don Perignon z 2004 roku. I szampan dziś leje się cały dzień, serio.

Christmas breakfast on the 25th of December and Don Perignon (2004). We drunk it from the morning, all day long, really.

After breakfast we take a ride on the golf court and the neighborhood- weather is good, so we have to take advantage of it.. haha noot, it's always so sunny!!

Bałagan po rozpakowywaniu prezentów/
Mess after unwrapping presents

-----------------
For the dinner at 3 (after the Quenn speach in England) we ate big turkey (because we didn't have it during Thanksgiving, normally we would have steaks today) with roasted potatoes and other vegies, quite good. They celelebry Christmas not to elegant as in Poland- they have Christmas dinner wearing pajamas or sporty outfit and no wishes exept toast "merry christmas".

MERRY CHRISTMAS!
