W weekend wybrałam się do San Francisco, do Golden Gate Parku, w którym to znajduje się muzeum de Younga i okresowa wystawa poświęcona biżuterii Bvlgariii. Myślę, że marki przedstawiać nie trzeba. Historia firmy sięga 1884 roku. Pod koniec lat '50, Bvlgarii znajduje upodobanie w zaokrąglonych formach. Styl Bulgari rozpowszechnia się również dzięki kształtom ze strukturowanego, symetrycznego i kompaktowego złota oraz dzięki licznym połączeniom kamieni szlachetnych. Do tej pory jestem pod wielkim wrażeniem tej wystawy, coś pięknego!
Zarówno wiosorek (1962) i i broszka (1958) zrobione są z platyny, szmaragdów i oczywiście brylantów. Należało to do Elizabeth Taylor.

Bulgari to też pop art z kolekcją "stars and strips" rozpowszechnioną przez Andy Warhola, z okazji otwarcia pierwszego w USA (Nowy Jork) salonu z biżuterią. Tu kolczyki z 1975 roku, ze złota, koralu, diamentów i czegoś niebieskiego, czego nie potrafię przetłumaczyć.
