In-N-Out Burger

Któregoś razu rodzina powiedziała "jedziemy na ulubionego burgera dzieciaków". Oczy mi się oczywiście zaświeciły, jako, że lepiej mnie ubierać, niż żywić i ochoczo się z nimi wybrałam. Niby to fast food, ale na jedzenie chwilę trzeba czekać, bo robią je pod klienta życzenie, o tym niżej. Jest świeżo i przepysznie i na dodatek, knajpa dostępna tylko w Kalifornii.

One day the family said "let's go and grab kids favoutite burger". Good for me, I thought. It is said to ba a fast food, but atually you have to wait some time for your meal, 'cause they're doing it the way you like it. It's fresh and very tasty and what's more- it's only in California.

MNIAM!

Jest menu główne widoczne dla wszystkich, ale to nie wszystko. Mamy tzw. "not so secret menu" , czyli nie takie tajemnicze. Oznacza to tyle, co jedzenie niewymienione w menu, ale jego modyfikacje, o czym idąc pierwszy raz się oczywiście nie wie.

Z "not so secret menu" mamy do wyboru:

• "3x3"- 3 plastry mięsa, 3 plastry sera, sałata, pomidor, cebula i buła
• "4x4"- to samo co wyżej, tylko wszystkiego 4 sztuki
• "Grillowany ser"- bez mięsa, z dwoma plastrami grillowanego, amerykańskiego (typowy żółty) sera
• "Protein style"- jak na zdjęciu poniżej.
• "Animal style"- burger według naszego wyboru, pomidory, bułka utoczona w musztardzie, ogórki kiszone i grillowana cebula.
• Frytki polane roztopionym, żółtym serem (brzmi obrzydliwie smacznie i kalorycznie i takie właśnie jest, próbowałam przy drugiej wizycie tam).

The bulk of the secret menu revolves around the burgers. In-N-Out's own website acknowledges the existence of this secret menu, publicizing "some of the most popular items" on what it calls the company's "not-so-secret menu."

"Animal Style" is one of the most popular "secret" styles; in addition to the standard toppings, Animal Style burgers include pickles, extra spread, grilled onions, and mustard fried onto each meat patty. "3×3" (pronounced 3-by-3), "4×4", or variations of "m" × "c", refers to a burger with a varied amount of meat patties, "m", and slices of cheese, "c": e.g. a burger with six meat patties and three slices of cheese is a "6×3". The In-N-Out "secret menu" section of the website only mentions the "3x3" and "4x4", which are registered trademarks of the company.

Other secret menu items include:

• Grilled Cheese - "Two slices of melted American cheese, hand-leafed lettuce, tomato, spread, with or without onions on a freshly baked bun."
• Veggie Burger - A sandwich containing only vegetables, without beef or cheese (booooooriiiiingggg)
• Chopped Chilies - Chopped yellow chili peppers are added to the burger.

Przy drugiej wizycie już byłam mądra i wzięłam proteinowego burgera (sałata zamiast buły).
